Advance News 2012

GUILDFORD MODEL ENGINEERING SOCIETY PUBLIC EVENTS 2012

I'm pleased to give advance notice of our public events for 2012:

OPEN AFTERNOONS 2pm – 5pm. Sundays - 18th March, 15th April, 20th May, 17th June, 19th, Teddy Bears Picnic - July 29th, August, Charity Day - 16th September, 21st October.

 

MODEL STEAM RALLY & EXHIBITION 11am – 5pm each day. Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July.

As regards the 2012 events:

·             Boiler testing day is usually the Saturday before Easter, so 31st March should be reserved.

·       Jeff Dickinson saw John Lowe from the Leicester Club at the Midlands exhibition and he said they will be pleased to see us in 2012 – so it looks like Sunday 20th May could be the day.

·         Visit to Norwich is already confirmed as Saturday 9th June

·         Saturday 4th August may be our annual visit to Leatherhead?

·         2012 AGM and Factory Open Day is usually 3rd Saturday in September so this year should be 22nd September.
